Blockchain workshop

What blockchain is, in plain terms, and how a local skill can become a paid digital service.

When: February 2026
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Workshop, beginner level

DreamSpace Academy ran a beginner-friendly blockchain workshop in February 2026.

The session explained blockchain in plain terms. It is more than cryptocurrency: it is a way to send value, prove ownership and build trusted systems online without a bank or other go-between. The session also showed how a local skill can become a paid digital service.

The workshop made the same point as the digital nomadism workshop in 2020 and the Navigate Digital course in 2025, with a newer technology. What holds people back here is reaching buyers who will pay.
