Programme, 2024

Training for sculptors in the Eastern Province

English, entrepreneurship and 3D printing for sculptors and pottery workers in Porathivu, funded through GIZ.

Format: Training programme, three logged sessions
With: GIZ Sri Lanka

In 2024 DreamSpace Academy delivered a training programme for sculptors in the Eastern Province, funded through GIZ’s Vocational Training in Sri Lanka (VTSL) programme.

The aim was to help the sculptors turn their craft into a sustainable business. They built business plans and practised English for business. Three sessions are on record:

27 April, English language training, 15 people
15 July, entrepreneurship training, 15 people
23 October, 3D printer assembly for pottery workers, 15 people

Each number counts the people at one session. They are not added together.
