Mushroom farming with Dreams of Women

A hands-on livelihood workshop for women running households and small businesses.

When: 4 October 2024
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Workshop

Dreams of Women, an independent venture the academy incubated, ran a hands-on mushroom farming workshop on 4 October 2024 for women heading households and for women entrepreneurs.

In the best-documented group of founders the academy has supported, eight of eleven business ideas were in agriculture, food or materials, and only one was digital. In this region, the most pressing need is a way to earn a living.
