Programme, 2024

Five-day skills workshop for the team

Public speaking, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving for the people who deliver the programmes.

When: 15 January 2024
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Workshop, five days
With: Canada Fund for Local Initiatives

DreamSpace Academy ran a five-day workshop for its own team from 15 to 19 January 2024, funded under the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives: public speaking, effective communication, leadership, teamwork and problem-solving.

The academy’s way of working depends on facilitation: guiding a group so that it reaches its own answers. Facilitation is a set of skills that can be taught, so the academy trains its own trainers in the same way it trains teachers in the school zones where it works.
