Event, 2023

Women's Day open day, She PRIDE of the Nation

DreamSpace Academy ran the Dreams of Women zone at a mass public event, and the Provincial Governor visited it.

When: 23 March 2023
Where: Trincomalee
Format: Public event
Who was there: more than a thousand people reached, as recorded
With: Nucleus Foundation, GIZ Sri Lanka, Swiss Development and Cooperation, Eastern Provincial Council

DreamSpace Academy ran the Dreams of Women zone at She PRIDE of the Nation, a public event at the District Secretariat in Trincomalee on International Women’s Day 2023. The Nucleus Foundation organised the event with GIZ Sri Lanka and Swiss Development and Cooperation, in collaboration with the Eastern Provincial Council and the District Secretariat.

The Eastern Province Governor, Anuradha Yahampath, and Kapila Athukorala, Member of Parliament for the Trincomalee District, visited the zone.

It is one of three mass public events in the record, reaching more than a thousand people. DreamSpace Academy holds those figures apart from workshop attendance and never adds the two together: a person walking past a stand and a person completing a three-month bootcamp are different claims.
