Visual Content Makers graduate, and Dive EAST launches

The first cohort received awards, and an Eastern Province tourism platform launched the same evening.

When: 25 October 2023
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Award ceremony and launch
With: Skills for Inclusive Growth

On 25 October 2023 the first Visual Content Makers Sri Lanka cohort received their awards, and the Dive EAST tourism platform launched at the same event. David Ablett, Team Leader of Skills for Inclusive Growth, was chief guest, with the Regional Manager for the East.

The programme ended with certificates, and with a platform that the newly trained content makers could supply with their work. Three years after the first Visual Content Makers exhibition in a technical institute hall, the East had a platform for the work.
