University of Peradeniya, engineering workshop

DreamSpace Academy ran hands-on sessions for engineering undergraduates, including integrated circuits and microcontrollers.

When: 8 February 2023
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Hands-on workshop
With: University of Peradeniya

DreamSpace Academy ran a hands-on workshop in the mechanics lab for engineering undergraduates from the University of Peradeniya in February 2023.

The workshop ran again in April 2024, and again in June 2024 for the 2022 intake of Peradeniya engineering undergraduates who come from the Eastern Province. Those sessions covered integrated circuits and microcontrollers, particularly Arduino.

The students study at a national university hundreds of kilometres away and came back to Batticaloa for bench time.
