Music production bootcamp

Three months from music theory to mixing and mastering, open to people with no experience.

When: 12 April 2023
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Bootcamp, three months

DreamSpace Academy ran a three-month music production bootcamp from April 2023: music theory, songwriting, digital audio workstations (the software used to record and edit music), arranging, tracking, editing, mixing and mastering. No experience was needed.

A one-day workshop followed on 5 May, adding DJ training and performance.

The bootcamp is a direct forerunner of the Dham Dham Riddim festival bootcamp the following February, and of DreamSpace Records.
