Milestone, 2023

Five years

DreamSpace Academy marked its fifth anniversary with a maker exhibition and a market.

When: 30 September 2023
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Anniversary exhibition and market

DreamSpace Academy marked five years on 30 September 2023.

Each lab planned its part with its own budget. The mechanics lab put on an engine demonstration, a welcome mechanism, complex-mechanism builds including an orrery and a mechanical iris, and an electric-vehicle project.

The labs also sold what they had made: puzzles, stationery, customised gifts, wall art, wood jewellery.
