During Dinacon 2022, the Trash to Paper project made paper from local waste: cardboard rolls, bottle labels, scrap paper, leaves, grass and coconut husk. In papermaking workshops, participants blended the fibre into pulp and pulled their own sheets, some with flowers pressed in. Coptic bookbinding workshops then turned the paper into small handmade journals.
Daphne U-đổ led the project with Sid Drmay, and members of the DreamSpace team built the frames and prepared the fibre.
