Event, 2021

Trainee cohort farewell

The closing event for a trainee cohort, and where some trainees went next.

When: 17 July 2021
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Closing event

A trainee cohort held its closing event in July 2021.

Two records from around then show where trainees went. One of the 27 people trained as visual content makers under Skills for Inclusive Growth in 2020 was publishing work. Another trainee completed an internship at the academy as a trainee software developer on artificial-intelligence projects.

At the same time the academy was hiring a technical project manager to run software work for international partners: client software work, done by people its programmes had trained.
