Photojournalism training across three districts

Two senior journalists taught participants from Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara online.

When: 7 November 2020
Where: Online, across three districts
Format: Training, online

DreamSpace Academy began online photojournalism training on 7 November 2020 for selected participants from Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara.

Seevagan Poopalaratnam, a senior journalist and founder of Arangam Media with long experience at the BBC World Service, taught it with Thamayanthi Simon.

Online teaching let participants from three districts take part at once. Journalism training continued from here into the academy’s later work against false and misleading information.
