Milestone, 2020

The first two changemakers

Trash for Trade and OceanBiome, the first two ventures to come all the way through the DreamSpace Lifecycle.

When: During 2020
Where: Batticaloa
Format: Incubation

Jayanthan Amalanathan, with Trash for Trade, and Shanjeevan Amalanathan, with OceanBiome, were the first two changemakers to come through the DreamSpace Lifecycle.

Both appear elsewhere in this record. Jayanthan won a HackaDev seed grant in 2019. Shanjeevan built the underwater glider and later went to the glider school in the Canary Islands.

The pathway started with these two people, who kept coming back, before the academy took in any cohort.
